Mens Sheepskin Aviator Flying Jacket

Made of real sheepskin, this is a classic men’s flying jacket with a Nappalan finish. It comes with a straight zip, single welt and angled pockets and reinforced seams top stitching, adding to seam strength.

What is a Nappalan / Aviator finish you ask? The appearance is achieved in the same way the flying jackets used by the RA F were treated. It is a finish which is sprayed on the suede(living skin) to look like the upper dead layer of the skin(epidermis) because the wool grows from the leather side of the skin. This finish stops the skin marking as easily as suede. Modern tanning techniques mean you are still left with a lightweight product with a fabulous handle. Aviator gives a slightly more rugged appearance.
