The Donald slipper is hand crafted from 100% British sheepskin. They feature a durable sole, which will stand up to trips down the garden but will keep your feet warm and comfortable indoors. With a contrasting Nappa heel.

Name origin: Dominique’s grandfather’s middle name. With Scottish and Gaelic roots meaning ruler of the world, this wasn’t Dom’s grandfather, but he was definitely ruler of the home roost.

Sheepskin is renowned globally as one of the best natural materials to keep you warm and temperature regulated.

Please note: we are in the middle of a rebrand and this slipper may have a different label to the one shown.

Size and Fit

Sheepskin slippers should feel firm and snug when you first try them on. As you wear them, the wool beds down and moulds around your foot making them loosen up. We recommend buying your usual size with this in mind as you don’t want them to become too loose. If you usually wear a half size, we recommend sizing up to ensure you get the length in closed-toe and heel styles but you can size down with mules and sliders.

Came beautifully packaged, no complaints. You can really see the thought and care that goes behind your purchase. The slippers themselves fit quite tight but can imagine they will break in after a few wears. They are a gift for my dad so can’t comment on his opinion on them yet but I imagine he will love them. Super warm and comfy. Would recommend, 10/10 service

Lovely slippers

Very warm, well made and practical with hard soles. I think they run a little tight compared to Shepherd slippers so would advise maybe going a size up, which thankfully I had. As usual , great service from Westmorland.

Luxury

I purchased these for my husband for his birthday in March. From saying he would never wear slippers, he doesn't take them off. He finds them very comfortable and warm. What's even more impressive is their durability; they still look brand new after months of use.

Since our lease ran out at our shop in Harrogate 2 years ago, we've been looking for a new (public-facing) home and it seems that we've found it. Not by coincidence by any means.

Around 12 years ago we spoke about family business and retail at the Mill with Robin Silver, Director at Salts Mill and brother of founder, Jonathon. The door to discussion was left open, and although Robin has since stepped down as Director, we re-instigated that conversation with the Salts team earlier this year.

And so... we’ve just opened a new shop at Salts Mill in Bradford and for the first time, it is exclusively our own brand (which is all very exciting) 😊 Situated on the second floor, near the ever popular Salts Diner, you can find us in the bright and airy gallery that houses Gold Lark jewellery and Rohan outdoor clothing.

Salt's Mill is best known for its connection to David Hockney and Yorkshire’s textile heritage under Sir Titus Salt, right in the heart of Saltaire – a UNESCO World Heritage village. It’s a beautiful giant of a space full of culture, art, heritage, antiques, design, food and independent shopping and it’s nice to now be a small part of that fabric and community.

We know you'll love it if you haven't visited already. You can tie a quiet mooch around with a coffee and a walk along the canal perhaps...

Our Opening Hours - Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
