I have just purchased my second pair of Alys slippers. I loved my first pair so much that I bought them again in a different colour so I have both colours . These are so comfortable from the first time you wear them, very cosy and warm, I have tried lots of different sheepskin slippers and these are by far the best I have owned. .

The slippers arrived promptly, and look and feel great. Since it’s still mid August they are awaiting the colder weather before regular use, but I have no doubts they will be up to the task of keeping my toes cosy. I managed to order the wrong size by mistake but this was quickly sorted out for me before dispatch.
Westmoreland is a great family run company to buy from. The slippers look great but are a present for my husband & he hasn't got them yet. But ive bought slippers shoes boots bags & many other products from this company & I can honestly say ive never been disappointed. Yes the slippers are expensive but they last me so much longer than cheaper ones & are so comfy. I guess you get what you pay for.

This is the second pair of Cadi style slippers I have purchased. I did try a different style from you but although excellent quality they were too narrow for my feet and I have disposed of them. I am completely happy with my second pair of Cadiz and I will certainly purchase this style again.
I haven’t worn them too much yet as it’s been so very hot but had a trial run around the house just to make sure they fitted. They were very comfortable and surprisingly lightweight , in a good way. Like little clouds of fluff on my feet. Looking forward to the autumn when I’ll be able to wear them without boiling over !
My daughter asked for cosy, easy on slippers for her July birthday. I assumed she’d want something for now but she wants to be autumn/ winter ready and absolutely loves these from Westmorland. The style and soft fleece comfort are perfect

Been wearing the sheepskin slippers for half a year now and they are fantastic. I love the flexible sole and natural materials and how soft they are, and fit well and there are no signs of the sole coming away from the rest of the slipper. I will definitely buy these again.

I have been buying these moccasins for many years. They do just exactly what I need them to do; are good quality at a reasonable price, and last well. My first pair of slippers from Westmorland Sheepskins. The Gwen slippers arrived and at first I thought I could have ordered a bigger size but as the company advise they do give with a short amount of wear and they are absolutely perfect, I love them. They are not too hot even in summer, they seem to regulate

This is my third time buying this style slipper, and replacement is down to me getting the outside dirty rather than them wearing out! The sheepskin is high quality, the sole is thick and they are super comfy. I really appreciate how even in the height of summer my feet don't feel too uncomfortable given the breathability of wool.

Hubby loves these super soft snugly slippies as he calls them. Quiet as a church mouse. I got a pair myself so we can snuggle up in front of TV at night after work. These are unisex but perhaps a darker colour would be better for hubby. Brings out the feminine side of him so friends say when they visit. Super slippers

As soon as the moccasins arrived my old slippers were in the bin. I ordered a size up as advised and they were snug initially as expected. They soon moulded to my feet. Very comfortable. Should have bought 2 pairs…
At first they are a little snug but I found that lifting the collar up at the back meant I could pull them on more easily without crushing the back down. Speedy service and they called me back when I had a query.

I suffer from very cold feet and, after trying lots of different slippers over the years, these are the warmest and best I've found in years. Would probably prefer just a bit more rounded at toes but so cosy. They are snug to begin with but I know pure sheepskin stretches a bit with use which they have done. And very quick arrival too. Highly recommended

The traditional style of these booties in a fresh Titanium tone is delightful. For warmth & comfort they're unparalleled as they reach around the ankles and swaddle the feet in ultra soft Merino wool. The sole is firm but has some springiness too which is very welcome.
Gorgeous traditional moccasins in a lovely cinammon colour. Well constructed, they hold the feet properly yet feel so light and soft, thanks to blissful Merino wool. The sole has a grainy texture which is slim enough to allow the feet to flex naturally and keep good contact with the floor. These are perfect. ?
Very comfy. Being able to roll back the cuff for extra coverage if needed is a great design feature & excellent value for money. The contrast between shiney titanium and taupè wool cuff is really lovely, they're smart looking yet cheerful too. ?

These slippers are so good, they keep being out of stock! I wanted a second pair and had to wait until Westmorland emailed me they were back in stock. I tried an alternative make, but the soles were really stiff. Alys has a flexible sole and super soft sheep skin, making them the confiest slippers I've ever had.
I usually treat myself to a new pair of Gwen slippers every year, but thought I'd change things up this year and decided to try the Alys style - and I'm not disappointed! They are so lovely on my feet and super easy to slip on and off quickly, fitting into my hectic lifestyle like a treat!

I have previously had Ugg slippers for a number of years but these needed replacing and I was hoping to find a smaller company to buy from. The colours/designs were all so lovely I found it hard to choose but settled on the zebra ones and they are beautiful! Also so comfortable and cosy, and love that you can cover more of the foot if it’s particularly cold. Also received a tea bag in my delivery which I thought was a lovely touch! I will definitely be sticking with Westmoreland Sheepskin slippers in the future and have been browsing their other items too :)
So glad to have my usual slippers back…..when they were unavailable I tried numerous other makes, but none came anywhere near the comfort and quality. Like others I size up…usually a 5 but now order 6 which are perfect for me, as I sometimes like to wear a sock as well, although the slippers are nice and cosy just as they are.

My house is pretty cold, with wood and tile floors, perfect for the summer but really unpleasant in the winter. Now I have my wonderful slippers, my feet are toasty and comfortable, and I don't go to bed any more with blocks of ice at the end of my legs. They're superbly made as well, and arrived within two days. Now I get up at 5.30am and come down to my beautiful Cadi slippers, all is better in the world. ?
These gorgeous slippers could not be more comfortable if they tried - super snug, perfect fit, and look really stylish. Absolutely LOVE them. They fit over socks but also stay on without, as the sheepskin kind of grips/expands where needed. I am a size 7 and it was the right fit for me. Highly recommended!

These are very comfy and warm - tested during the recently minus 4 to 5 temperatures without socks and feet were toasty. They do fit snuggly when first put on but after a week or so they've stretched nicely where they need to. Great colour (walnut).

My previous slippers were really giving up the ghost and since I didn't get any for Christmas, I decided to treat myself. The slippers were beautifully packed and fit my feet like gloves. They are so comfortable and, importantly for a lady of my age, don't get too hot or too cold; they are perfect!

I really like these slippers. I am a size 6 with protruding bunion bones and so I find it difficult buying footwear on line. These arrived promptly and are a really good fit. They are snug and lovely and warm. I would certainly recommend them and this company.

Footbed is cushioned and sole is flexible, making them exceptionally comfortable. Shape is very pleasing, they fit neatly accross the foot, cuff sets them off & can be turned right back, (as seen in mule version) they look good in either mode as they're great quality slippers. Colour of Mel is a couple of tones deeper.

I ordered a size 6 pair of slippers but when they arrived they were too tight. I spoke to a very helpful lady on the phone who then reserved Size 7 for me. I returned the first pair and then new pair came within in one week. I think it should suggest on the website that it might be a good idea to order a larger size than you normally wear.

Good quality slippers, seemingly well made, and comfortable once you get them on. Lost a star because the opening to put your foot in is small, and after nearly a fortnight I still can't just slip my feet in, I have to pull and wiggle. Would have been better design to have larger hole, taller shank. Still enjoying them though.
I purchased slippers as a Christmas present for my partner. I let him try them on without looking (although I think he peeped) to check size and comfort. He says they are great, really comfortable with sensible soles. Also the parcel was wrapped nicely in good paper with smart attractive printing.We can provide further feedback when the slippers will have been worn a while after Christmas.
I have been looking for sheepskin slippers for a while but having extra wide feet have had difficulty. I asked if they did wide fit and recommended the Gwen. Had them a week now and can get my feet in but are a bit tight but being sheepskin am hoping they will give, if they do I shall get another pair. Very good service and beautiful product.

Very nice slippers but I take a 10.5 and as advised on the website I ordered up a size so 11. They are now having worn them awhile very loose to the point of needing to wear 2 pairs of wool socks with them. Quality very good but think about size.

Arrived quickly, and nicely packaged in environmentally considerate packaging. Right out the box they feel like a quality product. Good sense sheepskin, well put together and immediately comfortable out of the bag. Lovely colour too.I've been living with these for a week, and initial impressions are these are in the top tier of slippers I've had over the last 10 years. I've paid similar money for established high street brands that have already been looking slightly worn within a week whereas these are still looking (and smelling!) box fresh.If I had one observation, we have laminate wood floors at home, and if I go outside to pick up the post the soles are slightly slippery returning into the house so I have to scruff my feet well on the mat. The soles are well padded and spongy but can pick up grit from the driveway so for me they are a strictly indoor slipper even though they have a weatherproof style base. Otherwise they are an exceptional slipper and can happily give them confident recommendation. Lovely to get a product that feels like you get what you pay for.

Bought these to replace my old sheepskin slippers which were over a year old, also bought here. Excellent quality, arrived quickly in paper packaging and in a mesh bag that I can use again. Love to support a British company. Yes they are tight to start with but loosen after a few days wear to give the perfect fit.

I take a ladies size 9 which is at the top end of the sizing. The slippers were extremely tight upon receipt but the information received with the order explained they are snug and will loosen in time. Although I intend to persevere with them, if I am honest I think they are too small. As a size 10 is not available all I can do is wait and see but after 4 days they are still uncomfortably tight. I can say though the slippers are fantastic quality and if I could get a size 10 I would be delighted with them.
Having lost Westmorland as a neighbour in Harrogate, I decided to visit their showroom and warehouse in Pool in Wharfedale. I have to say that despite my indecisive tendencies, Gemma and her assistant were so patient and helpful. The sheepskin I finished up choosing is ideal and I love my slippers. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This is my second pair of Gwen slippers. I bought my first pair quite a few years ago on a break in Harrogate where I first came across Westmoreland. The girl in the shop was so kind & helpful. At the time I thought these slippers are expensive but feel so comfy I decided to purchase them. I'm so glad that I did because they lasted far longer than any other slippers that i've purchased & so when I saw them on Westmoreland site & in the sale knew I had to send for them again. They are so comfy with the sheepskin lining even in this hot weather my feet have not been sweating. But in the winter keep your feet cosy & warm. I'm a size 7 & bought a size 7 which fit perfect. Can fully recommend both Gwen slippers & Westmoreland. Lovely people to do business with.

I have small feet so bought these slippers for myself. They look good and are warm and comfortable. The advice about size buying is good but I do have a high instep so I can’t wear them with socks. I might have bought the bigger size to allow me to wear socks but I am still very happy with my purchase.

Happy to be able to buy from a long-running Northern family business, which uses British wool (slippers unfortunately not made in this country). I was notified when my slippers came back in stock and received my order promptly and responsibly packed in a brown paper bag. I ordered a half-size bigger, as advised on the website, and they are still quite snug but bedding in nicely.

I recently purchased Erin slippers and they are the slippers that I have been waiting for all my life! They are super soft inside, are well made, have a robust sole and they stay on my feet when I walk. I had previously purchased the Ruby slippers last year which I really liked and were also well made, robust and stayed on my feet but they were not as soft inside as I would have liked. I recently purchased the Cadi slippers which were made just as well as the others, soft inside but didn’t stay in my feet at the back. I exchanged the Cadi for Erin which are perfect for me. The staff at Westmorland sheepskins were brilliant over the phone, helping me find the right slippers and they exchanged the slippers with no fuss. Top quality service and slippers!

I got these for my husband as a present and he says they are the best slippers that he has ever had! He has Raynauds so gets very cold hands & feet, so it’s been tricky finding the perfect slippers that are warm enough. Now they’re the first thing he puts on when he gets home and he never wants to take them off, as he finds them so warm & extremely comfortable. The lining is really soft and the overall quality of the slippers is also excellent. Would highly recommend!

These are great quality sheepskin slippers, nice thick sheepskin on the inside and a smart suede outer. Although different to other moccasins I’ve had in the past, the sole appears very robust. I found them to be true to size (UK 7). Lovely packaging, aimed at being environmentally friendly.

This is my second pair of Westmorland slippers, bought to replace a pair which I wore out. I'm a size 6.5 and find that size 7 is a good fit - feels a bit snug at first but eases within a day or so. Very comfortable and beautifully made.

Not normally one to leave reviews but just can't help myself this time. Placed order on Saturday and received slippers on Tuesday. Okay I paid a couple of quid to get the quicker delivery. No box just a recyclable bag containing slippers in a storage bag as well as a Yorkshire T bag. What a lovely touch!!! Nice to feel you're getting something for nothing. I’m replacing an old pair and know it takes time for the wool lining to flatten, but I couldn’t slip my feet into them without bending, and then found the edge of slipper very firm and the top felt rather shallow. Sadly, I have had to return them.

These are my third pair of Westmorland slippers, and every pair have been first class. I wear them everyday, everywhere! I never used to wear slippers, until I got my first pair as a gift almost 10 years ago. Now I couldn’t imagine life without them. Great in the summer, as they keep your feet cool and comfortable. Perfect for the winter as they keep you toasty and warm. The Idris is definitely my favourite style, and I would recommend them to anyone.
I have only given four stars, as the sizing is a little off now. I am a size 5 and this size has been good for me in these slippers in the past, however, last year the slippers were definitely smaller and I noticed people were advising to size up. With this in mind I ordered a size 6, which are comfortable, but a size I never take in other makes.

These sheepskin slippers are great. Laces that actually work to adjust the fit. Service was excellent and speedy. The only downside to me is that they are only available in "natural" colour and I would have preferred brown.

The Alys mule slippers in ‘stone’ are my first purchase from Westmoreland Sheepskin and I am so pleased with them. They are a pretty, practical, neutral shade, true to size, instantly warm and comfortable, sturdy and yet lightweight. Impatient for my new slippers, I had paid extra for express delivery…I was surprised to see the delivery person had walked through fields and clambered over walls to find us! Unconventional, but right on time and cheerful too!

As someone who didn't tend to wear slippers before (but I love Ugg style boots), I felt these would be ideal for me - good lining of sheepskin but no hard sole (so it feels more like I am wearing super thick comfy socks rather than slippers - which is what I wanted). Working from home, I just felt like I needed something to put on my feet so that I'm not constantly walking around in my bare feet all week. These have hardly been off my feet since I got them - they don't make my feet feel sweaty and feel like I'm walking on clouds. Decent value in the sale too! Whats not to love!

I have had these slippers before and love the feel of them. I like the soft sole. I also like to wear them barefoot and like that my feet are neither too hot or too cold in them. I wear them all the time indoors. I was pleased to see them on sale and needed a new pair so bought them. They are good value for money. I will buy them again.

Oh a little disappointed as already had two pairs of these they just felt not the same seemed thinner !! But cannot fault the team for saving they would have them back to test

Having being given a present of a pair of 'Oskar' boot slippers, capable of keeping my feet warm in Artic conditions, for Christmas, I needed something a little cooler in the, hopefully, warmer months that are coming. I plumped for a pair of Idris slip on's. My wife bought me a pair in readiness for my May birthday. As always with Westmorlands, they arrived promptly. I was allowed to try them on for size and they fitted my size seven feet perfectly. I was pleased with my choice style wise. The leather exterior is a change from the usual suede finish. I also got a free Yorkshire Tea teabag to try. I am a great tea drinker and really do not like Yorkshire Tea , preferring the produced in Somerset lose Miles Tea. Nice try Yorkshire! My great niece will enjoy colouring in the colouring in postcard also supplied. It was like Christmas all over again when the Westmorland parcel arrived.
I bought a pair of Veronica slippers as a birthday present for my wife, who has size 5, but rather wide, feet. The slippers arrived very promptly and looked stylish and well made. The hard soles make them suitable for pegging the washing out on the line now we, being poor pensioners, are trying to cut down on using the tumble dryer. I allowed my wife to try them on for size. They fitted perfectly.Unusually, they were supplied in a reusable net drawstring bag, complete with a list of suggested uses. Personally I shall use mine as a mask on my next bank raid. A stylish alternative to the usual nylon stocking.

I purchased a pair of lambswool-lined moccasin slippers. From start to finish the customer service provided was excellent. When I came across the product I was straight away able to access their live chat option and speak to a customer assistant who was able to give me advice on which size to get. I was then also able to speak to Sarah-Jane (customer assistant at the store) on the telephone who was able to give me advice on the sole of the shoe so that I could know that the shoes had grip and wouldn't be slippy. The moccasins are also very high quality and ethically sourced. I love supporting small, independent and family-run businesses. The customer service and the quality provided by Westmoreland Sheepskins is something you just don't get from impersonal larger businesses these days. Overall, fab customer service and a top-notch quality product!
Parcel arrived on time, packaged beautifully in a cotton bag, that can be used for 'stuff' - a cheeky little plus. The slippers felt tight at first and I was worried I got the wrong size, now after a few wears they fit great. The slippers feel soft and luxurious and my feet don't get cold even when the ambient temperature is quite low. I like the hard sole and will be ordering my next pair when these are worn out. I would love to buy more but the funds won't allow. I would recommend this company, I looked on many different sites for slippers but I made a good choice with Westmorland.

Lovely moccasin-style slippers (women's) were ordered a few weeks ago (the ones with hard soles) and they are so comfy and warm - also love the fact that the laces mean they're adjustable. And the hand-signed card by the staff was just a lovely touch - have bookmarked you for future use. (Oh, the items were also delivered really quickly and packaged sensibly, and well.)
Wonderfully soft and comfortable. Keep my feet warm in cooler temperatures and don’t overheat as the mercury rises. So comfortable I almost went out for a run in them (entirely accidentally!).

Saw these on the website and wanted something different. Emailed them for sole depth, as wasn't clear on website, and they replied within 48 hours. When I originally ordered they were out of stock, and I was informed I would be contacted when they did come back into stock. First-time purchase of a pair of Idris sheepskin mule slippers from Westmorland and they're the best! Excellent quality, super comfy and WARM. Initially thought the size was too small but this was due to the thickness of the wool inside. After a short while my feet snuggled in to a great fit. I will definitely recommend. An added bit of nostalgia was the hand signed Christmas card from the employees which I found endearing. Thank you.

The slippers are exactly what I hoped for, if not better. They look great in burgundy leather and are so warm and cosy. Absolutely perfect for cold, dark nights. WOMEN'S LAMBSWOOL LINED MOCCASIN (WITH HARD WEARING SOLE) I ordered my 1st pair of slippers from Westmorland and it was a great expeience.I received exactly what I ordered and with very fast postage. Never had lambswool lined moccasins before so ordered a size 5 buy normally wear a shoe 4. Like slippers to be slightly bigger and the size 5 is perfect. Love the colour and feel of the slippers wearing them in my bare feet. They are so comfy and dont catch my high arch which several slippers do! Would like to see them in a navy as am very careful not to get them dirty. Warm and cozy but not too hot to wear all year I think!
