Designed in house with seasonal influences and styles, Veronica is formed from sumptuous Spanish merino and handcrafted by our partners of skilled craftspeople in Southwest Europe. The cuff can be worn two ways, either up or folded over with the hair on the outside as a cuff.

Name origin: Veronica Maria Vigante came from a tiny village in the North East of Italy and was Dom’s Nan. She married Walter during World War II and moved to the UK. She always had a smile, a hug and randomly, gifts of stray kittens for Dom and her sisters.

Merino Sheepskin has very fine fibres, meaning that it is very warm and offers greater protection than other sheep’s wool. Find out more about the qualities of Sheepskin.

Please note: we are in the middle of a rebrand and this slipper may have a different label to the one shown.

Extremely soft and comfy

Well worth the money. So soft and fluffy. I returned them because I was worried that the outer metallic finish would be destroyed by my pets :(

Plush

Very comfy. Being able to roll back the cuff for extra coverage if needed is a great design feature & excellent value for money. The contrast between shiney titanium and taupè wool cuff is really lovely, they're smart looking yet cheerful too. ?

I don't want to take them off!

Beautiful pair of leopard skin print slippers. Good sizing, good quality and lovely springy sheepskin insides. Pleased to buy direct from a small business. Definitely worth the money. I'm planning on buying a different colourway in due course.

Just lovely

My 2nd pair of slippers from Westmorland. Super soft and comfy, everything you could possibly want in a slipper! And from a lovely family business.

Love my new slippers

I have previously had Ugg slippers for a number of years but these needed replacing and I was hoping to find a smaller company to buy from. The colours/designs were all so lovely I found it hard to choose but settled on the zebra ones and they are beautiful! Also so comfortable and cosy, and love that you can cover more of the foot if it’s particularly cold. Also received a tea bag in my delivery which I thought was a lovely touch! I will definitely be sticking with Westmoreland Sheepskin slippers in the future and have been browsing their other items too :)

THE most comfy slippers EVER

These gorgeous slippers could not be more comfortable if they tried - super snug, perfect fit, and look really stylish. Absolutely LOVE them. They fit over socks but also stay on without, as the sheepskin kind of grips/expands where needed. I am a size 7 and it was the right fit for me. Highly recommended!

Beautiful slippers

My first purchase from Westmorland and I’m really happy with my sheepskin slippers. They’re so soft and comfortable. I wasn’t sure on sizing as I’m between sizes but I contacted them and they advised to size up. They fit perfectly and I’m looking forward to wearing them for a long time.

Superb Slippers!

The slippers are totally fabulous! I choose the lilac metallic ones, they’re very jazzy and also super cosy. The company were such a pleasure to deal with, and the sustainable touches such as the reusable (and beautifully illustrated) postage bag, made the purchase even more special. Thank you so much, I’ll definitely be buying from you again in the future, Laura x

Since our lease ran out at our shop in Harrogate 2 years ago, we've been looking for a new (public-facing) home and it seems that we've found it. Not by coincidence by any means.

Around 12 years ago we spoke about family business and retail at the Mill with Robin Silver, Director at Salts Mill and brother of founder, Jonathon. The door to discussion was left open, and although Robin has since stepped down as Director, we re-instigated that conversation with the Salts team earlier this year.

And so... we’ve just opened a new shop at Salts Mill in Bradford and for the first time, it is exclusively our own brand (which is all very exciting) 😊 Situated on the second floor, near the ever popular Salts Diner, you can find us in the bright and airy gallery that houses Gold Lark jewellery and Rohan outdoor clothing.

Salt's Mill is best known for its connection to David Hockney and Yorkshire’s textile heritage under Sir Titus Salt, right in the heart of Saltaire – a UNESCO World Heritage village. It’s a beautiful giant of a space full of culture, art, heritage, antiques, design, food and independent shopping and it’s nice to now be a small part of that fabric and community.

We know you'll love it if you haven't visited already. You can tie a quiet mooch around with a coffee and a walk along the canal perhaps...

Our Opening Hours - Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
