GET WELL AND NOTES OF ENCOURAGEMENT:  Your prayers, care and help are still needed for Steve Hardy, John Tucker,  Karen Guidice, Anne Smith, and Mary Wesaw.  Please keep them and all our members in your prayers.

IMPROVEMENTS:  Our Post was spruced up nicely for the Birthday Dinner. The floors had been cleaned, the new carpet was installed and the foyer looked very festive and received nice comments.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:   Special recognition and a very big THANK YOU to Rick Solecki for the very moving talk he gave at the Birthday Dinner. Once again the dinner was a big success and all had a nice evening with good company, remembering and honoring our Veterans.

Preston Sanders received a plaque for 50 years of continuous membership. Congratulations Preston.

Our Post is the grateful recipient of two plaques and an American Flag, presented by Rick Solecki.

Post 362 helped the family of Mike Perkins, who was wounded in Iraq, and was hospital in California. He was able to spend some time with his family in Coloma before returning to California for additional treatment.

The Coloma and Watervliet Fire Department were the recipients of a donation from Post 362.

The American Legion Post 362 Honor Guard made a real good showing during the dedication ceremony of the new Coloma Public Library. It made me feel proud to be part of Post 362. Thank you for showing your civic pride. Heard nice comments from the general public.

NOTABLE:  Our diligent Funeral Detail has assisted at 29 funerals as of January 2004.  The detail is comprised of members of Legion Post 362, VFW Post 1137 and VFW Post 6803.  Their dedication is truly appreciated by all the families and friends of the deceased.
